Hi, I'm Lara Caldeira

I came to the United States from Brazil on a volleyball scholarship at nineteen years old, barely speaking English, and completely starting over. I figured it out. That's kind of my thing.

I didn't grow up with a safety net, but that did not stop me. I earned a 3.9 GPA in Brain & Behavioral Science at Purdue, learned English by living it, and started Casa Leal Studio in the middle of all of it. I tell you that not to impress you, but so you understand what kind of person you're hiring.

My degree isn't just a credential. It means I understand why people click, trust, and buy and I design with that in mind. Every layout, every word, every interaction has a reason behind it, rooted in how the human brain actually responds to what it sees.

I'm the designer who answers your messages, asks the questions others skip, and stays up late if that's what it takes. You won't have to chase me down. You won't get half-effort. What you'll get is a partner who treats your business like it matters, because to me, it does.
